Color correction in Fort Lauderdale

Color correction is fixing what is already on your hair - banding, hot roots, box color, bleach damage, or work from another salon that did not land. It is priced by consultation, and that is not evasion: the plan depends entirely on what is on the hair and how much of it can survive being lifted again.

Most corrections take more than one appointment. A stylist who promises to fix years of box color in a single sitting is planning to over-process your hair. We will tell you how many sessions it needs and what it costs before we start.

What we need from you

Your honest color history

Every box, every henna, every home bleach kit - including the ones from years ago. Henna and metallic salts in particular react badly with lightener, and we need to know before, not during.

Photos of where you want to land

And photos of what happened, if this is a repair. It is the fastest way to tell whether the goal is reachable in one session or three.

Time

Corrections run long. We block the chair accordingly, which is why they cannot be squeezed into a standard color slot.

Realism about condition

Sometimes the honest answer is that the hair will not take another lift safely, and the right plan is to repair, tone and cut before we try again. We would rather say that than break your hair.
Common questions

Questions we get asked

By consultation. The variables are what is on the hair, how many sessions it needs, and how much lightener the hair can safely take. We quote the whole plan up front, not per visit.

Usually, but rarely in one appointment. Box color deposits unevenly and builds up at the ends, so lifting it evenly takes staged sessions with repair in between.

Yes, and a good share of our correction work is exactly that. Bring photos of what you asked for and what you got - it helps us understand what was attempted.

Sometimes, and we will say so at the consultation rather than halfway through. Where the ends are structurally gone, no amount of color work makes them look right.

Send us photos first

A consultation with your color history and a couple of photos tells us more than any phone call can.
